REVEALED: The Date And Time Odegaard Must Be Signed By If He Is To Face Chelsea

Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard, according to multiple reports in the English media.

The Norwegian international is expected to join the Gunners on a permanent basis, with a fee between £30m and £34m being paid for the playmaker.

There have been claims that the transfer could be sealed in time for Odegaard to face Chelsea at the Emirates on Sunday, and there is a good chance of that happening if the transfer is as close as some reporters say.

For the 22-year-old to be in contention for the weekend, he will need to be registered by 12pm on Friday, which gives them just two days to agree personal terms and get a medical done.

It is believed that Odegaard has already agreed to a five-year contract but the details of the deal are still being finalised, so we shall see if Arsenal can get this over the line in time.
