Podolski Inclined To Make San Siro Move

According to Metro, Lukas Podolski’s potential summer move to Inter Milan could officially be on the cards, after his agent Nassim Touihri confirmed the Italian side’s intentions of strengthening in the summer period.

Arsene Wenger’s men are losing touch with the Barclays Premier League title, and the side are struggling for consistency in results. The season began well for Arsenal, but a string of poor results and congestion of fixtures meant the club could not sustain the title charge set by Chelsea and Manchester City. Injuries to key players like Theo Walcott left a void in the attacking play, and no arrival in January did not help the club either.

Podolski has not been a regular starter for Wenger in recent months, and his chances of starting for the German national side are reducing with every league match. In Germany’s recent friendly against Chile, national coach Joachim Low left Podolski on the bench, and started with Miroslav Klose in attack.

Reports suggest Inter have already agreed a deal in principle for Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic, and Podolski’s move will certainly improve the options at the San Siro.
