Piers Morgan Makes His Feelings Clear On Who Should Replace Emery

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan thinks Mauricio Pochettino should be the prime candidate if the Gunners decide to dispense with the services of Unai Emery.

The last gasp draw against Southampton yesterday was another poor performance that has led to further calls for the Spaniard’s sacking among supporters, and Morgan believes the former Tottenham manager should replace him:

Whether Pochettino would even consider moving across North London, it is up for debate. The ex-Spurs boss has been quoted in the past as saying that he would rather return to his farm in Argentina than takeover at the Emirates.

His sacking by Tottenham earlier this week could perhaps have changed his attitude and the bookmakers have certainly put the Argentine at the top of their list of favourites for the job.

Sky Bet has Pochettino at 6/4 to replace Emery, with former midfielder Mikel Arteta currently at 3/1 and ex Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez 4/1.
