Real Madrid could sell midfielder Dani Ceballos for €25m (£23m) at the end of the season, according to Marca. The Spanish newspaper claims Arsenal are prepared to make an offer for the 23-year-old, but they could face competition from the likes of Valencia and Real Betis.
The new asking price is a sizeable drop on the €40m (£36m) which has previously been quoted, and it will certainly boost the Gunners’ chances of signing the Spaniard on a permanent basis.
Head coach Mikel Arteta has already stated that he wants to keep Ceballos and supporters on Twitter believe the club should back their manager and secure a deal for the player:
Pay the money already.. there is a baller in there!

Make it happen @Arsenal
Ceballos is a certified baller

It looks like a decent price tag for Ceballos. He has shown improvement under Arteta since the restart and he will only get better with time under Arteta.

If payable in installments let's pick him up for starters.

Do it. It's hard to find a better midfielder at that price…

Buy! For that money we better get him rather than probably some Ligue 2 potential youngster for £10+ m's.

No brainer

Think that’s a good price, if true, but will Arsenal fork up the cash ?

It must be pointed out that Arsenal will have a very limited amount to spend in the transfer market, both due to the current financial climate and the fact that they won’t be playing in the Champions League next season.
Even so, £23m for a player of Ceballos’s quality would be difficult to pass up, especially as Arteta is keen on him remaining at the Emirates.
