‘PAY HIM THE MONEY’ ‘Stop Low Balling’ ‘Pay Him £250K Or Nothing’ Fans Raise Concerns About Arsenal’s Contract Offer To Key Player

Arsenal are reportedly struggling to meet William Saliba’s wage demands.

The Gunners are said to be prepared to offer the Frenchman a contract worth £120,000 a week but the player wants a much higher salary.

With Saliba’s current deal expiring in 2024, and Paris Saint-Germain keeping tabs on the defender’s situation, there is pressure to get an extension agreed soon, and fans on Twitter want the club to push the boat out to keep him:

Saliba is currently earning around £40,000 a week so Arsenal’s proposal would triple his wages but PSG’s interest does complicate matters.

The Ligue One champions are likely to be willing to put a much higher offer on the table, and it leaves the Gunners with a decision to make. They can either dramatically increase the defender’s salary or risk losing him.

From the perspective of Arsenal’s supporters, there is only one choice to make; give the player what he wants.
