Paris Saint-Germain have opted against making a bid for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, according to reports in the English media.
Despite having opened talks about signing teammate Hector Bellerin, the Ligue One champions are not interested in signing the France Under 21 international. The Gunners are desperately trying to get the midfielder off the club’s books and fans on Twitter believe that may be the reason why teams are opting against making a move for him:
As much as I back Arteta, freezing Guendouzi out tanked his value. It implied his attitude was so poor that his potential was not worth the trouble. Why would other clubs bother. Especially after PSG dealt with Rabiot. Major financial mistake, regardless of his development.

I'm also surprised that no one wants Guendouzi! Do we really overrate him?

No one is gonna buy Guendouzi I feel

This pretty much sums up the Guendouzi situation. You would think with the gassing there would be a lot of clubs lining up to pay top dollar for him. https://t.co/ESQXVosYnh

Guendouzi played the big man only to discover no-one wants to buy him. I didn't dislike him before but he's managed to ensure both he and the club lose out.

If Arsenal want to sell Guendouzi, integrate him back into the team. Show club's how good he can be and maybe someone will come in next summer with a good offer
Alienating him from the team won't help his value, no one will pay the asking price https://t.co/0u3jmxmoFU

Thoughts on the Guendouzi situation, Deluded? Would you re-integrate him since we’re having difficulties shifting him for his true value?

Our problem at Arsenal is huge, we could have gotten loads of money from Guendouzi sale had Raul and the board not have soo much ego in teaching the young chap a lesson. He aired, but atleast relax rules and get rid of him bfre making tins publ.

To be honest Guendouzi will be massive under Arteta if he is willing to keep his attitude in vhecky

Guendouzi is certainly a talented player but it seems his perceived transgressions have now begun to affect his market value. Head coach Mikel Arteta’s decision to effectively freeze the 21-year-old out is definitely not helping the club offload him this summer.
Arsenal are very keen to raise funds for other purchases and they thought Guendouzi’s sale would give them extra spending power but getting him off the club’s books has been much harder than anticipated.
