Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has been named as one of four players who head coach Mikel Arteta would consider selling in the summer. The Daily Mail report that Frenchman could be sold along with Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sokratis and Mesut Ozil to finance an overhaul of the squad.
Supporters on Twitter don’t think the 20-year-old should be offloaded considering the player’s massive potential:
I won't sell Guendouzi though, he's a rough, young diamond who needs some discipline. It could likely be another Gnabry syndrome

Selling Guendouzi would be madness. I mean if PSG came in with at least 75 millions I'd be ok, but selling him for less would be madness. Not because he is that good already, but because he has potential to be much more expensive than that. AMN too shouldn't be sold. OZIL OUT NOW

He’s not going anywhere

If i was running a football club I'd take Guendouzi any day. Very young, bags of potential

I think it would be a mistake letting Guendo go, but I'm all for this otherwise.

There is no way the board will cash Guedouzi now. IF Arteta really think he want to get rid of him, the board will let him play at least 1 or 2 more season.

Not Guendozi please

Guendouzi is going nowhere

I refuse to believe Guendouzi is going anywhere. That's the future of our midfield

One of the main reasons why Guendouzi may well be let go is due to disciplinary issues. The midfielder was reportedly dropped for the game against Newcastle after having an argument with Arteta.
The France Under 21 international was subsequently reinstated to the squad and started the 2-0 win over Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Monday night, but it seems that he may not be in the manager’s long term plans.
Whether Guendouzi can convince Arteta to keep him with his performances between now and the end of the season, we shall have to wait and see.
