Latest Arsenal Injury Report: Updates On Zinchenko, Smith Rowe And Elneny

Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko did not take part in training on Wednesday ahead of the Europa League clash against Bodo/Glimt.

The Ukrainian was recalled to the starting lineup for the North London derby last weekend, but there are concerns about his overall fitness. He was seen hobbling after the game at the Emirates on Saturday and it is not known at this stage whether he has suffered a recurrence of a calf issue that sidelined him just before the international break.

Emile Smith Rowe underwent surgery last month to fix a long-standing groin problem but manager Mikel Arteta has refused to give a timescale for when we will see the 22-year-old back in action.

Mohamed Elneny is still recovering from a serious hamstring injury and current estimates suggest that he should be back available for selection again at some point in January, if the Egyptian international doesn’t suffer any setbacks.
