Latest Arsenal Injury News: Updates On Smith Rowe, Partey, Elneny And Nelson

Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is believed to have picked up a muscular injury in the warm-down after the 3-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.

At this stage, it isn’t known whether it is a serious issue or if he could still be available to face FC Zurich in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Thomas Partey is expected to be out for a number of weeks with a recurrence of a thigh problem. The Ghanaian has now missed the club’s last three matches against Fulham, Aston Villa and United.

It looks as though Mohamed Elneny is facing an extended spell on the sidelines. The Egyptian has sustained a serious hamstring injury and manager Mikel Arteta has already confirmed that the midfielder will be out for “months.”

Reiss Nelson also remains on the treatment table. The winger was on the bench for the opening game of the season against Crystal Palace but a thigh muscle issue has ruled him out of contention since then.
