After a positive summer, Arsenal head into their first Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace with a lot of confidence.

Losing out on Champions League football to bitter rivals Spurs last campaign was hard to take but manager Mikel Arteta has strengthened his squad with the aim of making sure they finish in the top four this time around.

Facing Palace in the season opener won’t be a walk in the park, though. The Gunners lost pretty comprehensively to the Eagles back in April so this will be a true test of how much progress the club have made.
