Pressing

Gabriel Jesus

Pressuring opponents is definitely a key strength of Jesus, and while Aubameyang is no slouch in this area either, the Brazilian does still do a fair bit more work off the ball than the Gabonese striker.

From 2017 to 2022, Jesus averaged 17.1 pressures per 90, compared to Aubameyang’s 16.1. The Brazilian also intercepted passes far more often (0.73 interceptions per 90 to Aubameyang’s 0.26).
