Let’s get the bad news out of the way first. Jesus is not (and probably will never be) a better finisher than Aubameyang. If we compare the Brazilian’s stats from 2017 to 2022, we can get a better look at the difference.
If we subtract Jesus’s xG from his actual (non-penalty) goals, we get a figure of -5.7, which demonstrates he is a below-average finisher, compared to Aubameyang (whose figure for the same period is +7.3)
