Gabriel And Lacazette To Start, Willian Out: Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Palace

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be hoping his side can make it five wins from five in all competitions when they play Crystal Palace this evening.

After rotating his team for the FA Cup, the Gunners boss will likely revert to the side that won 4-0 against West Brom in their last league outing.

Bernd Leno will start in goal, with Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney expected to play in the fullback positions. Gabriel is back in contention so the Brazilian could well line up alongside Rob Holding in the centre of defence, with Pablo Mari missing out.

In midfield, Thomas Partey may only be fit enough to be a substitute so Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos are the favourites to start in the middle of the park, with Emile Smith Rowe lining up ahead of them.

The forward line will likely see Alexandre Lacazette recalled to play the central striker role, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang playing off the left and Bukayo Saka coming in off the right flank. Willian and Nicolas Pepe may have to settle for places on the bench.

Arsenal’s Predicted XI To Face Crystal Palace:

Leno, Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney, Ceballos, Smith Rowe, Xhaka, Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang
