Fabregas Excited By The “Two Big, Big Talents” That Arsenal Have In Their Ranks

Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has praised Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard after their excellent recent form.

The pair played a key role in the 3-2 win over Watford at the weekend and Fabregas believes that the two youngsters will be extremely influential players for the Gunners in the coming years:

Saka has been in sensational form recently, having scored six goals in his last eight league games, and the club are expected to offer the 20-year-old a new contract at the end of the season.

It has, though, been reported that the winger would be more inclined to put pen to paper on an extension if Arsenal qualify for the Champions League. Manchester City and Liverpool are said to be monitoring his situation so, to keep hold of him for the long term, qualification for Europe’s top competition is very important.

In terms of Odegaard, the Norwegian now looks a bargain after the Gunners paid an initial £30m for the player last summer. He is a clear candidate to be the club’s next captain.
