Arsenal right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu impressed once again as the Gunners battled to a hard-fought 1-0 win against Burnley yesterday afternoon.
The Japanese international was dominant in the air and strong defensively versus one of the most physically imposing teams in the Premier League.
Supporters on Twitter were delighted that Tomiyasu rose to the challenge in only his second appearance for the Gunners:

Considering he has only been at the club a very short period of time, having only joined up with the squad 10 days ago, Tomiyasu seems to have settled into the team almost instantly.
The defender looks perfectly suited to the rigours of English football, although it is probably wise not to make any sweeping judgements about the player.
Tomiyasu has yet to come up against a fast, tricky winger so we shall see if he is able to pass that test first, but the early signs are very promising.
