Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has stated that he is happy to stay at Arsenal and hasn’t had any contact with AC Milan.
Reports have suggested that the Uruguayan international is unsettled at the Emirates, with the Rossoneri keen to take him back to Italy.
Torreira has, though, clarified his future by making it clear he has no interest in leaving the Gunners:
“Nobody from AC Milan has got in touch with me, today I’m in the Premier and happy to be part of the Arsenal. It cost me, the adaptation. It’s not easy, but I only think about the team. I’m happy to be there.”
Fans on Twitter are delighted by the 23-year-old’s comments and are hoping that it puts an end to any speculation:

Much of the conjecture surrounding Torreira stemmed from an interview he did with an Uruguayan publication a couple of weeks ago.
In the article, the midfielder revealed that he had struggled to adapt to life in the UK, but he also made light of the struggles of settling into a new country.
Regardless, Arsenal are not interested in selling Torreira after an excellent first season in the Premier League.
