Arsenal are lining up a new contract for attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 20-year-old has just over two years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates but the Gunners are keen to reward him for his excellent form since breaking into the starting eleven earlier this season.
Smith Rowe’s performances in recent months have been extremely impressive and supporters on Twitter are happy that the England Under 21 international will be handed an improved contract:
Do it now!

The numbers speak for themselves. In 23 appearances this season, Smith Rowe has scored two goals and racked up six assists.
You also have to factor in that manager Mikel Arteta has asked him to play in two positions, both as a number 10 and left-winger, and he has looked equally comfortable in both roles.
Smith Rowe is likely only to get better over the next few years and tying the player down to a new deal seems like a wise move.
