GK – Aaron Ramsdale
The 25-year-old knows any mistakes could now cost him his place in the starting lineup, following David Raya’s arrival at the club.
Some players thrive under such pressure, while others wilt, but you would bank on Ramsdale being the former, based on his personality.
Arteta says he doesn’t have number 1 in any position but that is, of course, not true, considering Ramsdale played nearly every match last season.
With Raya now at the Emirates, that will now change, and we shall have to wait and see who comes out on top in this particular battle.
