Eintracht Frankfurt are prepared to sell centre-back Evan N’Dicka for just €20m (£17m) this summer, according to Bild.
The Frenchman was first linked with the Gunners two years ago, and he was also tipped to be a target before Ben White was signed from Brighton in July.
N’Dicka, who has also been watched by Tottenham and Liverpool, has not had the greatest season in Germany, with Frankfurt looking to reshape their defence after conceding 32 goals in only 21 matches this campaign.
However, he is still only 22 years of age, and he does have the potential to develop into a top defender in the future. On top of that, he is left-footed, which would make him a good replacement for Pablo Mari, with the Spaniard seemingly not in Mikel Arteta’s plans.
The Gunners may also have an advantage over other clubs in the race to sign N’Dicka. The centre-half is managed by Aboubacar Traore, who also represents Nicolas Pepe.
