Arsenal could well have an advantage over Liverpool in their pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka, according to the Daily Star.

Both Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old over the past week, but the Gunners’ connections to the player’s representatives could prove crucial.

Aboubacar Traore is among the agents who represent N’Dicka, and as he also played a vital part in securing Nicolas Pepe’s move to London from Lille, it will give Arsenal a head start in talks.

A good relationship with an agent can go a long way to making a transfer happen and the Gunners will be hoping Traore’s involvement will help smooth negotiations for the £20m rated centre-back.

N’Dicka has made 25 appearances in all competitions for Frankfurt this season. He is usually employed as a centre-half but over the past few months, he has been selected more often than not at left-back.
