Arsenal are one of the favourites to sign Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to reports in the UK.
The 21-year-old has found game time hard to come by under manager Thomas Tuchel and he is believed to be keen on leaving Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes.
Fans on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the rumours, with some keen on recruiting Hudson-Odoi while others feel that the Ghanaian doesn’t possess the quality to make an impact at the club:
Bring him in – he’s a proven winner and can add a lot of depth

Good for rotation otherwise we’ll run Saka and Martinelli down

I’d take him especially with our current squad and the impending Tielemans signing 😌👍🏾

It’s fair to say that Hudson-Odoi’s career has stalled somewhat. A couple of years ago, he was a player in high demand, with Chelsea having to fend off interest from Bayern Munich to keep him.
However, things are a lot different now. The forward hasn’t pushed on as some would have hoped. He prefers playing off the left flank so he could provide competition for Gabriel Martinelli, but the Brazilian is clearly a few levels above him in terms of quality so you do have to question whether signing the Chelsea star is really worthwhile.
