Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are both keeping close tabs on Galatasaray fullback Sacha Boey, according to Telefoot reporter Saber Desfarges.
The journalist claims PSG are considering the 23-year-old as a replacement for Nordi Mukiele who is expected to join Bayern Munich. However, he says the defender may prove “too expensive” for the Ligue One champions, paving the way for others to make a move. Posting on X, Desfarges suggested teams in England, and “Arsenal in particular” are interested in Boey:
🔴🔵 Pour remplacer Nordi Mukiele, potentiellement sur le départ au Bayern Munich, le PSG apprécie le profil de Sacha Boey.

Boey has been linked with a move to the Emirates before in the Turkish media but this is the first time a more reliable source has said that the Gunners are seriously contemplating a bid.
He could be signed as competition for Zinchenko
While Boey is ostensibly a right-back, he has been deployed on the left-hand side of defence as well, which could make him a candidate for the inverted fullback role.
Oleksandr Zinchenko has struggled for form in recent months and the Ukrainian international is currently sidelined with a calf problem so Boey could provide some competition for his place.
With Jurrien Timber not expected to return from injury anytime soon, and Kieran Tierney staying in Spain for the rest of the season, it is a position that could do with strengthening.
Can Arsenal afford Boey?
The Gunners are restricted in what they can do in terms of finances so it remains to be seen whether they could put an offer together that would satisfy Galatasaray.
If they could negotiate a loan deal with an option to buy, that could allow a move to go ahead this month despite Arsenal’s limited budget.
