‘We Can Make Upwards Of £80M Here’ ‘Good Business’ Fans Discuss Possible Departures Of 3 Arsenal Players

There is “significant interest” in Arsenal trio Thomas Partey, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding, according to The Mirror.

The Gunners need to raise funds if they want to make further signings this summer, after having spent over £200m already.

Most supporters on Twitter are happy for all three players to leave the Emirates, although there are some who would prefer either Partey or Tierney to stay:

Arteta will have to make some tough decisions

While Partey was a key player in Arsenal’s unlikely title challenge last season, his injury record has been poor since he arrived in London three years ago, and there is a feeling that, after Declan Rice’s arrival, he could be let go if the right offer comes in.

There have been plenty of rumours about bids from Saudi Arabia but nothing official has materialised yet.

When it comes to Tierney, Arteta has seemingly made it clear to the Scottish international that he won’t be a regular starter. Newcastle are one of the defender’s suitors, while a return to Celtic cannot be ruled out either. Rob Holding, meanwhile, has already been the subject of a £2m bid from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas, which was rejected.

Arsenal want at least one more signing

The Mirror claim that the Gunners remain keen on recruiting a “right-sided forward” in order to take some of the weight off Bukayo Saka.

If they can sell a couple of the players, it seems the club will put the money directly towards another addition to the first-team squad.
