Arsenal did not take Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Reuell Walters on their pre-season tour of the United States, but Amario Cozier-Duberry did make the plane.
It’s quite telling that, despite the wealth of talent in the Gunners’ academy, manager Mikel Arteta chose Cozier-Duberry to be part of his first-team plans in pre-season.
Some have already labelled the 18-year-old as the “next Bukayo Saka” and, while they may be putting too much pressure on the youngster, he has certainly impressed Arteta and his coaching staff.
