Arsenal are keeping tabs on River Plate striker Agustin Ruberto, according to The Secret Scout.
The insider, who has good contacts in youth football, claims that Chelsea and Manchester City are also “monitoring his situation” after impressing for Argentina at the Under 17 World Cup late last year.
Some fans on X are excited by the prospect of Ruberto moving to the Emirates while others want the Gunners to focus on signing senior players who can come in and make an impact straight away:

Ruberto’s record for Argentina at youth level is very impressive
The teenager has hit the back of the net 24 times in 31 appearances for his country at Under 17 level, including 4 goals at last year’s South American Championships and 8 in the World Cup.
Ruberto’s goals at the latter tournament helped Argentina reach the semi-finals before they were knocked out by Germany on penalties.
The striker can move to Arsenal when he turns 18 later this month
South American players are eligible for transfers to Europe when they become 18. Although Ruberto is currently 17 years of age, his birthday is on January 14th.
It means that clubs, including the Gunners, can snap up the young forward during the current transfer window. It remains to be seen, though, whether Mikel Arteta’s side will make a move for him.
