The fullback has played just 2 games since returning from his loan spell at Fulham last summer.
Cedric had a cameo appearance in the win over Brentford in the Carabao Cup back in September, and he played just over an hour against PSV Eindhoven in the final Champions League group game.
The Portuguese international has been heavily linked with a move to Turkish side Besiktas but things have gone somewhat cold on that deal over the past week.
With Cedric’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, he won’t be at the Emirates for much longer anyway.
