Arsenal scouts have watched the 14-year-old Ethan Ampadu a number of times and have been impressed with the teenager. The north London side will see off competition from Manchester United to land the whizz kid, according to the Daily Star.

Ampadu has recently been called up to the Wales U-16 side and looks like a promising player. He featured as a substitute in their 1-0 win over England in the Victory Shield tournament last week and seemingly the sky is the limit for the young Welshman who has been watched many, many times by Arsenal’s scouts who are all very impressed by his skills.

As Ampadu’s father, Kwame Ampadu, is apparently a youth coach at Arsenal’s Hale End academy it would seem that a move to North London is a natural fit.
