Arsenal Tipped To Revive Move For 40M Rated Playmaker With 10 Goals And 12 Assists This Season

Arsenal are likely to reignite their interest in Norwich attacking midfielder Emi Buendia in the summer, according to reports in the English media.

The Gunners were heavily linked with the Argentine during the January transfer window but the playmaker’s £40m asking price reportedly put them off from making a formal offer.

However, Buendia is a player who is still very much on the club’s radar, having scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists in just 29 appearances for Norwich in the Championship this season.

Martin Odegaard was signed on loan from Real Madrid after Arsenal decided against a move for Buendia but the Norwegian international has not made a real impact on the team, having yet to score or create a goal in eight games.

Things could still change but, as things stand, it seems like Buendia could well be the subject of a formal approach from the Gunners at the end of the season.
