Arsenal Target PSG Rising Star

Arsenal Target PSG Rising Star

Arsenal might have found a realistic target to push for this January. PSG’s Adrien Rabiot is looking for a change in scenery with the Gunners being right on top of the list. Cazorla and Coquelin are out for the next couple of months which means they will miss a big part of what is left of this season. Spending so much time on the bench will also make it hard for them to return and compete with a player who plays every week. According to TalkSport, the 20-year-old Frenchman is not looking for a permanent deal and is rather interested in a loan which is perfect for all sides. Arsenal get a player eager to prove himself and Rabiot gets to play in the best domestic competition in the world.

The midfielder could fill in the gap left by Coquelin and join Ramsey down the middle of the pitch. With Ozil in front and with Sanchez and Walcott on the sides Arsenal could look really good. Wenger will have to battle Liverpool for the youngster’s signature who is surely going to sign a loan deal this January. Rabiot told the press: “I have asked the president to be loaned this winter if my playing time goes down between now and January. It is something that he cannot refuse, I know that he likes me a lot.”

Hopefully Arsenal will make a step towards signing this defensive midfielder who is seen as one of the most promising players out there. He is a constant in France’s youth teams, being selected in all representative sides starting with U16 and ending with U21.

Even though he is just 20 he has already made 90 appearances for PSG. Those appearances were not made strictly because of his value but mostly because he had to step in for injured colleagues. Even so, he is an important asset for the club and selling him is not an option. A loan deal is highly probable especially after the player requested it.
