Arsenal Prepare Continguency Plan As Wenger Replacements Lined UpAccording to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have begun the process of finding a new manager to replace Arsene Wenger, in case the Frenchman decides not to sign an extension to his current contract that expires at the end of the campaign.

Wenger recently achieved the feat of managing his 1000th fixture for the club, but it was one to forget for the vastly experienced manager. Arsenal lost 6-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and wrongly had a player sent off through no fault of his own. This has put the Gunners on the back foot when it comes to the Barclays Premier League title charge, and may have ended their challenge with just 7 games to go in the season. To the agony of Wenger’s men, Manchester City in 2nd place have played one less games than Arsenal, and are currently four points ahead. The title seems to be a battle between City, Chelsea and Liverpool, with the Gunners occupying 4th place.

Arsenal have reportedly decided on Everton boss Roberto Martinez and Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp as potential replacements for Wenger, in case the Frenchman does not sign a new contract by the end of the season.
