A new signing for Arsenal, Leandro Trossard, has posted a picture of his newborn baby son on Instagram. He was born on January 30th, having been given the name of Amadeo by Trossard and his wife.
In the post, in which Trossard tagged his wife, Laura Hilven (who he married in 2019), it showed a picture of his baby alongside a plaque of the child’s name.
He is Trossard’s second child – his first, Thiago, was born in 2017.

Several of Trossard’s teammates, both past and present, congratulated him upon the announcement. Timothy Castagne, who plays with Trossard for his native Belgium, left a message containing two love heart eye emojis.
Kjell Scherpen, a former Brighton teammate, wrote on Trossard’s post [translated from Dutch]: “Congratulations!”
He also received a well-wishing message from Arsenal’s official Instagram account on the post. They put: “Congratulations to you and your family.”
Trossard signed for Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion on January 20th for a fee that could potentially rise to £27 million with add-ons. He made his Gunners debut against Manchester City on January 27. He’s also now something of a regular in the Belgian national team, for whom he has scored five goals across a total of 24 caps.
So far this season, Trossard has scored seven goals across 20 Premier League appearances. Can he press on and add more to his tally at the Emirates Stadium?
