Arsenal Perspective Attracting Young Talent

Arsenal have been struggling to find a striker good enough to provide Giroud with decent competition and also with some well-deserved breaks every once in a while with the exception of Yaya Sanogo in recent weeks. Money has not been the issue standing between the Gunners and a possible transfer. Perspective was more of a problem for star strikers who chose to join other clubs which offered the chance of winning a trophy right away. Fortunately for Wenger, things have changed because of the great season the North London side has had up until now.

Despite being left out of the Champions League after losing against Bayern, Arsenal still have a pretty big chance of winning the Premier League and the FA Cup. With this being their first season in which they started investing in transfers since the Emirates Stadium was paid off, chances are the Gunners will start bringing in the trophies in the little time.

Because of that players like Michy Batshuayi Tunga have started expressing their desire to join Wenger’s side in the near future. Standard’s player would make a nice addition to the Gunners’ squad especially considering the fact that Giroud’s only competition which is Bendtner, will leave at the end of the season.

Batshuayi who is under contract with the Belgian side until 2018 seems keen on leaving his team sooner than expected. London might just be his next destination. He is currently leading the top scorer standings in the Jupiler Pro League with 18 goals in 34 appearances. According to Metro, the 20 year old recently admitted he would like to join Arsenal considering their great philosophy. Hopefully the Gunners will reach an agreement with Standard Liege who just might help Wenger finally fill the second striker spot.
