Espanyol midfielder Marc Roca will be sold if a club offers €25m (£22.6m) this summer, according to Calciomercato.com. The Spaniard does have a release clause of €40m (£36.2m) but the La Liga club’s relegation to the second division means they are keen to sell him on.
Roca has been the subject of interest from Bayern Munich but it is believed that Arsenal and AC Milan will be the two main clubs battling for the player’s signature this summer.
The €15m (£14m) reduction in the 23-year-old’s valuation may also attract others to the table and it remains to be seen whether Gunners boss Mikel Arteta sees the midfielder as a priority target.
It was revealed this morning that Dani Ceballos could be signed on a permanent basis for exactly the same price and, with Arteta having already stated he is keen on keeping the Real Madrid star, it may be the case that Roca is a backup option.
