‘Great To See’ ‘World Class’ Well Deserved’ Fans React As Arsenal Star Is Handed Club Award

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has been named the club’s player of the month for September.

The 22-year-old scored 3 goals and contributed 3 assists in 5 appearances, with the Gunners recording 3 wins and a draw in the Premier League, and a victory in the opening group match of the Champions League.

Fans on X agree that Saka was a deserving winner of the award, having played a key role in every match last month:

Saka has had a phenomenal start to the season

We haven’t even reached the middle of October yet but the England international has already racked up 10 goal involvements in all competitions.

Considering that Saka reached 26 goals and assists last campaign, there is a decent chance that he can surpass that total if he continues on the same trajectory.

The Arsenal star’s fitness is a concern

Manager Mikel Arteta played some mind games in the buildup to the Manchester City game, stating that Saka would be “in contention” to play.

The winger didn’t even make the matchday squad for the 1-0 win at the weekend and he appears to be in the race against time to be fit for the clash versus Chelsea after the international break.

Saka has been put on an individual fitness programme to give him the best chance of playing in the London derby but we will find out more about his fitness nearer to the match on Saturday week.
