Arsenal Looking To Sign Fenerbahce Youngster Batuhan Yayikci

Arsenal could bring in a low cost solution to help fill the depth in their defense. According to the Daily Mail, Fenerbahce youngster Batuhan Yayikci is close to receiving a deal from the North Londoners who see the 18 year old as the next Gareth Bale. The Turkish U19 international has impressed audiences with how mature he is and with how well he can handle tough situations. Even though Fenerbahce are trying very hard to hold on to their player, Wenger has a good chance of convincing the left-back to move to London.

With Gibbs and Monreal being Arsenal’s current options, Yayikci could have a great chance to perform on a semi-regular basis which is pretty great for someone of his age. Scouts have been watching the 19 year old for a long time and Wenger could make a move during the winter transfer window. Apparently the manager has lined up a £1milion deal for the 18 year old who would be a great transfer for the Gunners given their lack of options when it comes to the defense.

Even though relatively unknown, Batuhan Yayikci seems like a decent investment for the future as well as for this particular moment in time. Hopefully Arsenal will convince him to come to London this winter.
