With Sanchez, Ospina, Debuchy and Chambers already signed by Arsenal, the Gunners are still opened to bringing in new players in order to consolidate the squad. According to talkSPORT, Wenger could place a bid for Porto’s number 10, Juan Quintero. The 21 year old Colombian midfielder who is currently valued at just under £10 million, has a similar profile to that of Ramsey. He would represent a great alternative for Wenger who had problems when Wilshere, Ozil and Ramsey were out with injury.

Quintero, despite not being one of Wenger’s main targets, is still on the Frenchman’s radar. He is an affordable player who showed great promise since moving to Porto back in 2013. With Arsenal’s new found appetite for change, it would be no surprise to see the 21 year old being offered a deal sometime this week. Despite the fact that Wenger insisted that the team is almost complete and that the only position which may require some back-up is the goalkeeper position, he also admitted that if some great opportunities emerge, the Gunners will not hold back.

The Colombian midfielder looks like such a great opportunity. Despite the fact that his current contract expires in 2017, Porto could be interested in making a profit. The player has increased his valuation by 30% since coming to Portugal from Pescara where he spent 1 year and made just under 20 appearances in which he scored 1 goal.
