Arsenal End Week In Style And Share Top Premier League Spot With City

It has been an amazing couple of days for Arsenal who defeated Bayern Munich and Everton. They now share first place with City in the Premier League standings and have a good chance of making it to the Champions League’s knockout stages. The only bad thing that happened in the week was Ramsey’s injury. Hamstring problems will be keeping him off the pitch for at least one month. Fortunately, Arsenal have Oxlade-Chamberlain and also Flamini who looked very enthusiastic against Everton.

Not only did Arsenal manage two good wins but they also showed a lot of potential. Beating Bayern is definitely something good to think about. One other thing worth noticing is how big of an impact Cech has on the team. He saved the Gunners against Bayern Munich and against Everton and gave the defense that extra level of security Wenger has been missing for a while now. Ozil is also continuing to have a major impact on the team. He did more in two games than in half of last season. Two assists and a goal for the German who will hopefully only get better and better. Giroud stood out as well after scoring in both games. He is now offering some serious competition for Walcott who seemed to be the only viable option up until a couple of days back.

The most important feeling that remains after this week is the feeling that Wenger was spot on with each and every one of his transfers. Ozil, Sanchez and Cech have helped Arsenal improve their game and will continue doing so. All that is left is to see the Frenchman continue bringing in star-quality players and to see if this is the year the Gunners get over the line in the Premier League and if you fancy a little wager on them why not have a bet with Australian bookmakers.
