Both Arsenal and Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Birmingham City forward Che Adams in action, according to reports in the UK.
The two clubs, along with Watford and Celtic, had representatives in attendance during the Blues’ 1-0 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers last Tuesday.
Adams has been in superb form for the Championship side having hit 19 goals in 32 league games so far this season.
Burnley and Southampton both reportedly made bids for the 22-year-old during the January transfer window but Birmingham rejected all offers for the striker.
The Clarets are believed to have bid £9m for Adams but his club are said to be holding out for at least double that amount.
An £18m price tag does seem a bit steep for a player who has had just one good season in the Championship. He had managed just seven and nine goals respectively in his previous two campaigns for Birmingham.
