Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring Wolves captain Conor Coady, according to reports in the English media.
The 25-year-old came through the academy at Anfield, but it is believed that the Gunners are the club who are the more interested in securing the centre-back’s services.
Coady’s ability to play out from the back has caught the eye of the London’s club’s scouts, and his leadership qualities could help strengthen Arsenal’s backline.
Wolves are said to be very keen to keep hold of the defender, though, and want him to sign a new contract.
Coady currently has two and a half years left to run on his current deal, but despite being given a 50% pay rise following promotion to the Premier League, his club still feel he is deserving of a higher salary.
The centre-half has been ever-present for Wolves this campaign, having played the full 90 minutes in all 24 of the club’s matches in league and cup competitions.
