Arsenal are in a three-team race to sign Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, according to reports in the UK.
The Gunners are said to have been tracking the Frenchman for a while, but they could now face competition from the likes of Everton and Paris Saint-Germain.
Doucoure has been in decent form so far this season, with two goals and five assists in 18 Premier League appearances for Watford.
The 25-year-old had his breakthrough campaign under manager Marco Silva last year, and it is believed the Toffees’ interest is being led by their Portuguese boss.
PSG are set to lose Adrien Rabiot at the end of the season on a free transfer and are seeking Doucoure as a possible replacement in central midfield.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are in a similar situation with Aaron Ramsey leaving in the summer and are looking at the Hornets star as a candidate to strengthen their own options in the middle of the park.
