‘Another Level Right Now. Absolute Class’ ’35 Mil Was A Steal!!!’ Fans Hail Arsenal Ace For Role In Fulham Comeback

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard played a pivotal role as the Gunners came from a goal down against Fulham on Saturday to maintain their 100% start to the season.

The Norwegian international’s deflected effort got Mikel Arteta’s side back into the match after Alexsandar Mitrovic put the visitors 1-0 up, and he was a constant menace throughout the 90 minutes.

Supporters on Twitter have been paying tribute to Odegaard and they are delighted with how he has performed in the past couple of games:

It’s fair to say that the 23-year-old didn’t really stand out in the first two fixtures against Crystal Palace and Leicester City but he then kickstarted his campaign with his brace against Bournemouth.

If Odegaard can maintain his current level of performance over the coming months, Arsenal will be in with a good chance of winning every game they play. Consistency is the key for the Norwegian but it appears Arteta was fully justified in handing him the captain’s armband.
