Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has praised Kieran Tierney for his performance in the 2-0 victory over Newcastle last night.
The Scottish international has been in excellent form in recent weeks. He was in the thick of the action once again yesterday by providing the assist for Pierre Emerick Aubmeyang’s goal, helping to seal the Gunners’ passage to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
After the game, Morgan took to Twitter to name Tierney as his man of the match, stating that the 23-year-old represents the type of player he wants playing for his club:
My Man-of-the-Match.. again.

Tierney is certainly looking the part for Arsenal. His first season, following his £25m move from Celtic, was plagued by injury but his second campaign in England has been top drawer.
Many fans and pundits alike are now tipping the fullback as a future captain of the club, and if he continues performing like he is at the moment, there is no doubt that he is destined for the top.
