Agent Of 22-Goal Belgian Ace Reveals Arsenal Would Be Perfect Destination For His Player

The agent of Racing Genk winger Leandro Trossard has said a transfer to Arsenal would be a good move for his client.

The Belgian has been linked with a switch to the Gunners over the last year and reports have suggested the club have scouted the player.

When asked about Trossard’s future, agent Josy Comhair said the forward would be open to a move to Arsenal or Germany:

“There is no agreement with any club yet. But I think that Germany is a beautiful country for him. You can take it one step higher via Germany”

“Because with Arsenal you are immediately at the highest level and you can almost only go down. But yes, it can also be Arsenal.”

Trossard has been in excellent form for Genk this season, having scored 22 goals in all competitions for the Belgian club.

The 24-year-old has actually been captaining his side in recent months, with the Jupiler Pro League having split off into its playoff stage.

After seven games, Genk currently sit top of the table, with six wins and one defeat. During that period, Trossard has scored three goals and provided one assist.

He hit the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Gent last week, and also played in the game against Antwerp yesterday evening.
