Arsenal Lining Up Summer Deal For £22m Rated Welbeck Replacement

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Racing Genk winger Leandro Trossard, according to reports in the English media.

The 24-year-old has had a breakthrough season in Belgium, having scored 17 goals and contributed eight assists in 29 games.

Trossard is reportedly valued at £22m by his club, but the Gunners are likely to have competition from other clubs for his signature.

German teams Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen on the wide man, although no official bids have been made for the Belgian just yet.

Arsenal are believed to be lining up a summer offer for Trossard as they eye a potential replacement for Danny Welbeck whose contract expires at the end of the season.

The former Manchester United forward is set to miss the rest of the season with a broken ankle, which he sustained in the 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon back in November.

Welbeck is reportedly a transfer target for Crystal Palace where the forward could link up with his former England manager Roy Hodgson.
