‘Admirers Are Not Lacking…’ Report Reveals Arsenal And Real Madrid Are Competing To Sign £70M Rated Forward

Arsenal remain interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Tuttosport.

The Italian newspaper claims that “admirers are not lacking” for the Serbian international, with both the Gunners and Real Madrid keeping tabs on his situation.

Vlahovic reportedly turned down a move to the Emirates in order to secure an €80m (£70m) switch to Juve fifteen months ago but there are now suggestions that he could leave the Old Lady.

Fitness and form mean that the 23-year-old could be let go for the right price at the end of the season, especially if the Serie A side need to raise funds.

Due to a fifteen-point deduction, Juventus are currently unlikely to qualify for the Champions League. They are, though, appealing the decision and, if that proves to be successful, they may still end up keeping Vlahovic.

From Arsenal’s point of view, it remains to be seen whether the forward is still a priority target. After they missed out on Vlahovic last year, they did secure the services of Gabriel Jesus so it could be argued that they don’t need another number nine.
