Arsenal are prepared to pay £35m for Pedro Neto but Wolves are expected to hold out for around £50m, according to reports in England.
The Portuguese international is the Gunners’ priority target ahead of the transfer deadline but there appears to be a sizeable difference between the two club’s valuation of the player.
Some supporters on Twitter believe Neto’s asking price is too much while others are hoping that a compromise can be reached on the fee:
50 million is absolutely nuts especially for someone who's just came back from a severe injury. It's a massive gamble he may never recover his pre injury form and we are stuck with another deadwood player on the bench.

40M max.. If not, look for other targets.
Man is a risk considering he is coming from a long term injury

I would pay 35mill and include AMN in the deal. Sometimes I forget he is still at the club.

35 M is reasonable.

They got 45 million for Gibbs-White and people think we’ll take their best player for 35?

35m is ideal.

£50m is a lot of money for a player who has struggled somewhat since returning from a serious knee injury earlier this year. However, Wolves are in a pretty strong position.
The likes of Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with Neto so there could be some competition for the 22-year-old’s signature which could help up the price.
After recently selling Morgan Gibbs-White to Nottingham Forest for a deal that could be worth a massive £42.5m, Wolves are not exactly desperate to sell Neto either.
