Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos has returned to full training following a series of injury problems this season.
The young Greek defender impressed in the first team during the final months of last campaign, when he started three games in a row under Arsene Wenger.
He is yet to play this season, but it seems he has already impressed Unai Emery‘s coaching staff since making his injury comeback. Fans are very excited by the 21-year-old’s potential:
That’s a Paulo Maldini in the making. Great defender indeed

Truly believe him next to a top proper CB under proper coaching and man management would be ideal

Well we don’t have much choice now do we, hope he comes good as we don’t need another half way house CB on loan

It’s very easy to get carried away about a player, especially when they a young, but in the fleeting glimpses we have been given of Mavropanos, he looks to be a very talented player.
Whether he’ll live up to the hype when he makes his first-team return, we will have to find out. He’ll need time to get up to speed after being out for an extended period, but many supporters will hope he can help to reinforce a defence which has been leaking goals this campaign.
