Manchester City are one of several Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Arsenal full-back Ainsley Maitland-Niles, according to Todofichajes.com.
The Spanish rumour mongers claim that the Citizens, Everton and Newcastle are all keen on the 22-year-old but there is also interest from Italy, France and Germany.
Todofichajes are not the most reliable of sources so take this rumour with a large pinch of salt, but there is no doubt that Maitland-Niles’ future at the Emirates is up in the air.
Head coach Mikel Arteta started the right-back in his first five league matches in charge of the Gunners, but he has played just a few minutes since January, with many asking whether he could leave when the transfer window reopens.
Maitland Niles has the likes of Hector Bellerin and Cedric ahead of him for a place at right-back, while he is highly unlikely to get much game time in his favoured position in central midfield.
