Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is a doubt for tomorrow’s game against Manchester City. The German has missed the last two matches due to a tight right thigh and is being assessed by the club’s medical team ahead of the trip to the Etihad.
Cedric Soares is now back in full training. The Portuguese international was carrying a knee injury when he first arrived on loan in January but he is now available to make his debut for the Gunners.
There is no such good news on Lucas Torreira, however, with it being confirmed that the Uruguayan is likely to miss the rest of the season. The midfielder fractured his ankle in the win against Portsmouth in the FA Cup and his recovery time is estimated to be between eight and ten weeks.
Sead Kolasinac (shoulder) remains out of contention, with the Bosnian expected to make his return by the end of March, while Calum Chambers continues his rehabilitation from the ACL injury he sustained against Chelsea in December.
