Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos started for Spain in their 2-1 win against Romania last night, and he made a crucial contribution for the winning goal.
The 23-year-old provided the through ball for Jordi Alba who crossed for Paco Alcacer to put his side 2-0 up just minutes into the second half:

Arsenal were unable to agree an option to buy in his loan from Real Madrid with the Spanish club believing the player still has a future at the Bernabeu.
The prospect of a permanent deal will likely depend on the future of Zinedine Zidane. If the Real boss remains in his post next summer, he could allow the move to happen.
The Frenchman has never given Ceballos an extended run in the La Liga side’s first team and is seemingly unconvinced by the player’s ability. Gunners fans are certainly not in any doubt about the Spaniard’s talent.
